NEW MILESTONE
MARCH 2009
New milestone for ARS. The company noted that it reached an important step in its 5-year history. The point of distinction includes ARS’ involvement in tagging/tracking over one million items such as material handling equipment (golf carts, fork trucks, pallet jacks, pallets), tools, people, books, cars, large screen TVs, IT equipment, classified assets, guns, jewelry, paper, computers, liquid detergent, hi-pressure steel tanks, cans, batteries, aerospace parts and other items of importance. Contributing to this success are ARS customer sites which have eclipsed over 1 billion reads. ARS attributes this success to two strategic investments. The first occurred in 2007 when ARS advanced its architecture to use load balancing, stackable servers. Second, in the summer of 2008, ARS deployed an application framework similar to that used by giant FedEx to handle millions of parcels each day, except we harnessed it for tag reads on extreme volume customer sites. Another example of ARS software unlocking the value from common off-the-shelf RFID hardware.
JANUARY 2009
McLean, VA. Booze Allen Hamilton (BAH) places TES in their Emerging Technology Showcase (ETS). ARS passed its rigorous screening process and BAH has added TES to its arsenal of biometric security solutions. BAH is truly an elite consulting firm that many of the world’s largest companies (including the US Government) turn to for security consulting. It is an honor to be invited to join ETS and a huge opportunity to give exposure to TES.
