NEW MILESTONE

MARCH 2009

New milestone for ARS. The company noted that it reached an important step in its 5 year history. Contributing to this success are ARS customer sites which have eclipsed over 1 billion reads. ARS attributes this success to two strategic investments. The first occurred in 2007 when ARS advanced its architecture to use load balancing, stackable servers. Second, in the summer of 2008, ARS deployed an application framework similar to that used by giant FedEx to handle millions of parcels each day, except we harnessed it for tag reads on extreme volume customer sites. Another example of ARS software unlocking the value from common off the shelf RFID hardware.
